Racetrack

Racetrack challenges the visitor to build and customize their own race car. Visitors gain firsthand experience with mechanical advantage by using gears. The three lane figure eight track is operated by a push button control station. Racetrack includes a double sided build station with labeled bins for each K’nex part. Each build station is equipped with an example of a fast and slow car mounted in a vitrine that can be activated by the visitor. A test strip at the build station allows visitors to fine tune their car before heading to the racetrack.
