Vertical Wind Tunnel

Vertical Wind Tunnel is an open-ended, hands-on experience that challenges visitors of all ages to experiment with the forces of wind.  Visitors channel their creativity by using everyday objects (coffee filters, paper cups, etc) to create unique models. Visitors then hover their models above a concealed fan, let go, and watch them soar up an acrylic tube, toward the ceiling. The Vertical Wind Tunnel can stand on its own, or be the center of an enticing staff led demonstration.
