Touch for Sound

In this creative exhibit, sound is linked to the sense of touch in an engaging and relaxing way. An array of everyday objects is arranged on a wall and linked to a computer housing a large library of sounds. When the visitor touches one of the objects, a small circuit is completed and the computer is triggered to make a sound. A button allows visitors to change the sound selection for each object. Sounds could range from bird songs to clips of famous speeches. Visitors can create their own sound symphonies by touching different objects and creating custom sound series.
