Skeleton Door Opener

Opening a door may seem simple, but this activity showcases the intricate, elegant engineering that coordinates 30 separate bones to perform a single task. Through a mechanical linkage, the action of a skeleton arm is synchronized to that of the visitor's arm. As the visitor turns a doorknob, the skeleton arm does the same in a direct mirror of their movements. This striking experience highlights the complexities of the human body and inspires further thought about what it takes for our bodies to get us through the day.
