This body on experience shows visitors the power and efficiency of hydroelectric energy. By turning a hand crank, visitors pump water into an elevated, 20L reservoir. They then push the “Flush” button to release the water from the reservoir, turning a small turbine that lights a 7W LED bulb for 30 seconds.   Currently, this process for storing excess energy for future use is one of the most efficient methods available.
