How Tall Are You

A friendly, computerized voice invites visitors to come get their height measured. Using a sonar measuring system, the visitor’s height is measured in both imperial and metric units. Occasionally, the unit will intentionally mis-measure the visitor, quickly followed by a “Just kidding you are really (the correct measurement)”. Thresholds can be set for statements such as “My, you are really tall! Do you play for Lakers?” for added character.  After hearing their measurement, visitors can use magnets to record their height and create a plot of the height of the visitors throughout the day on an optional wall display.  This ordinary experience is turned extraordinary by the playful, humorous personality of the computer system.
