Horizontal Animation

Become an animator in this interactive multimedia experience! Visitors can create elaborate three-dimensional stop-action animated scenes by using moveable figures and other materials from a nearby bin and setting them up in front of themed backdrops. They then photograph the scene using the controls on the exhibit, move the figures and take the next photograph. The computer plays back these snapshots at high speed, creating an animated sequence. Visitors also have the opportunity to add a range of sound effects to their mini-movies.
