Air Cannon

 

Using the Air Cannon visitors generate a slow moving but very kinetic blast of air called a Toroidal Vortex. Using the vortex, visitors can knock down a stack of cups or position their aim at the “Can’t Miss Target”. The exhibit’s drum is entirely clear, allowing an unobstructed view of the operation of the vortex cannon. For special demonstrations smoke can be introduced into the cannon allowing the visitor to see the movement of the vortex ring.
